Topping Up Your Alfas Fluid And Oil Levels.

Topping Up Your Alfas Fluid And Oil Levels.

These guides serve as an introduction into various Alfa maintenance tasks, and are designed to give Alfa owners a better understanding of the work that is involved. These are not full Alfa Romeo workshop manuals, where you will find the official techniques, technical specs and important safety considerations, which we would recommend you study before attempting any of these tasks.

If you haven’t got electronic steering then check the power steering fluid level.

Top up the brake/clutch reservoir with DOT 4 fluid.

You can visually see the coolant level in the tank. Put in the same colour as what’s already in there (blue or red) and dilute the strength to the suppliers recommendations.

If you’re not replacing the oil then take out the dip stick, wipe it, put it back in, take it out again, check the level….

….and top up as required with the correct oil.
