Removing The Front Headlight On An Alfa Giulia

Removing The Front Headlight On An Alfa Giulia

These guides serve as an introduction into various Alfa maintenance tasks, and are designed to give Alfa owners a better understanding of the work that is involved. These are not full Alfa Romeo workshop manuals, where you will find the official techniques, technical specs and important safety considerations, which we would recommend you study before attempting any of these tasks.

Prise the head of the plastic push clip at either end of the top bumper rail.

Undo the x6 T55 (Torx) screws along the top rail.

Down the front outer edge on both front wheel arch liners are x4 T25 screws.

There’s another T25 screw on either corner on the front section of the undertray.

Undo the x11 T30 screws to the front section of the undertray.

On both the front wheel arch liners, pull back the bottom corner and undo the T30 screw.

Using a plastic trim removal tool carefully separate the lower corners of the bumper from the wheel arches.

They’re a push clip fit.

Separate the top corners of the bumper.

It’s easier for two people to remove the bumper as there’s still a wiring loom connected.

Disconnect the wiring loom at the right end.

The bottom headlight mount has a M10 bolt.

So does the side mount.

On the top mount there’s a locating push clip as well as the M10 bolt.

Unplug the connector at the back of the headlight and the headlight can now be removed.
