Undo the x4 4mm Allen bolts to the doors ‘pull to’ strap.
Prise off the covering behind the interior ‘door lock release handle’.
Undo the 5mm Allen bolt.
Starting at the bottom right corner work the door card free.
Disconnect the door release cable….
….and the plug to the tweeter.
Peel back the adhesive membrane foam, if it starts to tear you may have to carefully cut it away from the door.
Undo the x2 10mm nuts to the top of the window regulator…
…and the x3 to the regulator motor.
On this occasion the motor has failed so in order to lower the glass we cut the cables to the regulator.
The glass can now be gently lowered, this is to lower the glass securing screws.
To gain access to the RIGHT side securing screw the speaker needs to be removed.
Unplug the speaker.
Using a 6mm drill bit drill out the x3 rivets holding the speaker.
The speaker needs to be prised off with a plastic tool.
Undo the RIGHT side T30 glass securing screw…
…and the LEFT side. These screws are also used to adjust how the glass sits.
The glass can now be lifted out.
Unplug the connector to the regulator motor.
Undo the x2 10mm nuts to the bottom of the regulator from the underside of the door. These also adjust how the glass falls towards the car.
Remove the old window regulator and replace it with the new one.
Bolt it in position, plug in the motor and drop in the glass securing it with the x2 T30 screws.
Check the fitment by comparing the glass on the opposite door in the drop position and fully closed position.
Adjust the glass accordingly then reassemble the door.
