Removing A Spark Plug From A Stelvio/Giulia 2.0 (280hp)

These guides serve as an introduction into various Alfa maintenance tasks, and are designed to give Alfa owners a better understanding of the work that is involved. These are not full Alfa Romeo workshop manuals, where you will find the official techniques, technical specs and important safety considerations, which we would recommend you study before attempting any of these tasks.

Pop out the x2 front bolt covers on the engine cover…

….and undo the x2 10mm bolts.

Unscrew the oil filler cap.

There’s x2 push type fittings underneath at the back so give the engine cover a good tug there first and remove. Screw the oil filler cap back on so you don’t drop anything down there.

Undo the 10mm bolt to the coil pack

….and pull off.

Undo the 16mm spark plug….

…and extract with a magnetic extension rod.
