Unscrew the oil filler cap and put it on the slam panel by the bonnet lock, it will remind you or anyone else that there is no oil in the engine.
Undo the 17mm sump bolt.
Try unscrewing the oil filter by hand, otherwise use a set of swan neck pliers.
Clean the surface to the housing, then smear clean oil over the new oil filters seal and screw in hand tight.
Replace the sump washer and put back the sump plug.
Fill up with 3.6 litres of Selenia StAR Pure Energy oil, screw the filler cap on,
and briefly start the engine to circulate the oil.
Pull out the dip stick, wipe, place back in, then pull it out again to check the level. Repeat a couple more times for an accurate reading and top up if necessary.
